What is this insect? It's underneath the leaves of my grow, could it be a red spider? Help, I have neem oil, potassium soap, and diatomaceous earth to fight it.
A little dawn soap mixed in water kills on contact, smothers them. Spray undersides of every leaf and then the top sides. repeat every 3 days for a couple of weeks until all hatching babies are dead.
Sure is... I've tried to combat them with Neem oil with little success on other plants... and diatomaceous earth probably won't help as you can't really get that stuff onto the leaves where these pests are (it's really only good on creepy crawlies that crawl around on the soil or the floor of your tent)... Don't know about potassium soap. What I've learned from others is that Spinosad, which is organic as well, will work quite well but haven't had the chance to use it - thankfully!
Good luck!
