Why did my pistols turn red so quickly? I did add some neem oil and recently began running CalMag but immediately stopped... Finally got ph tester and realized I’m running way to high. Got up/down coming. Any ideas??? Should I worry or do anything? Also, no males in there

It could be one or a combination of things. Spraying anything on your flowers is usually a last ditch effort to save them from insects or disease. Next using neem oil that is too strong can cause a bit of burn. Lastly if you do need to spray always spray with the lights off and let them dry off under a fan before you put the lights back on. Sometimes the light can magnify the water droplets and cause a bit of burn. Lastly you may want to consider raising your lights a bit 600watts is pretty strong even if they are pulling a true 350-400 watts 12 inches is very close. I would go by the manufacturers recomendations then lower them a few inches twice a week. Until you find the sweet spot. I personally use a PPF/PAR meter to measure the intensity. The good news is your buds will continue to grow and throw out new white pistils and in a few weeks you will barely notice the pistils that dried prematurely. Hope this helps put your mind to rest.

Some plants show pistils earlier than other. Older pistils will turn brown and wither. Its completely normal in my opinion. They show no deficiencies or ph lockout.

Pisitils going red can happen for a lot of things. It can happen when pollen, dust, people, etc touch them. Spraying with neem oil likely did it if you sprayed the buds. I thought you were supposed to stop spraying neem once you had buds, but maybe you just have to stop a few weeks before harvest? I would double check. Calmag and bad ph shouldn't have an effect on the pistils i wouldnt think.

Must be the neem oil you spread on you ladies , any products spread on the pistols can makes then oxydating. You ph is not too High but it is in the highest side of the ideal range in soil ! In soil you can grow between 6 and 7 ph with a Sweet spot at 6.5ph. Don't stop cal mag as generally plants are eating more of both val and mag in flowering. That said I noticed that you are not using the good feeding chart, check the GHE or GH feeding schedule and stick to what they are indicate except if you wanna try the Lucas formula herding schedule ( Google it )
