pH woes. To water or not to water, that is the question.

The tap water I've been watering my plants with is very alkaline, the pH came out to around 10 when I measured it with a digital reader. Should I water it again with pH adjusted water early or wait until the soil dries out to avoid overwatering? Soil and nutes pH was ~8.6.

I'd get that PH down as soon as possible! Your plants aren't able to take up any of the nutes you're giving them and the plant is going to suffer. Flush with PH'd water (go for 6.0-6.5) at the rate of 3 gallons of water for every gallon of pot size... The last gallon you run through on your flush should contain your nutes. THEN let it dry out completely before watering. Good luck - I think everything will be fine! You're lucky you caught this when you did as autos don't really NEED any nutes until they're about the age yours are! Always, always, always let the soil dry out between watering/feeding... and make sure what you're giving her is PH'd to 6.0-6.5!

Depending on your substrate mix is your answer. If you do not have a lot of perlite or coco in it then wait. Unless plant is showing signs of issues. Soil is pretty forgiving.
