about to be day 3 of flower aka. 12 hrs of light. I wanted to switch one of the plants back into veg . its early enough no side effects will happen ?

It should be fine. I have a friend that shifts to 12/12 a couple weeks after germination just to sex out his plants and then put them back under 18/6 once they do. He's never had a problem. Well, other than mutant leaves and taking weeks to go back into veg.

How long is left and other advice :)This is only my second grow and I am still learning a lot. Plants seem to be lacking apical dominance...?Wondering if anyone else has encountered plants that have never had apical dominance? I have two plants plants from different strains (that I am pretty damn sure I didn't mix up), both of which have split off into two separate vertical stalks off of the main trunk w/o topping.

Flipping to flower ***BUT want to change light schedule?If i wanted to move my light schedule two hours ahead, when i flip to flower. How would i do it, without harm.
It is because of the rise of cost of electricity.
When switching to flower i go from 18-6 to 12-12 schedule.
Can i just extend Lights-off with 2 hours, before flip?
