Watering methods

Is it possible or has anyone tried to water the plant more often but with smaller doses, for example 50%? Is it necessary for watering to flow out of the pot? Are there other watering methods? I ask because when a plant is deficient, I have to wait until the next watering.

1-2-1-2-1-2... 😇👌

Imo its important to saturate the entire medium. Or you'll get dry pockets that will end up inhibiting root growth. If you want you can always foliar feed to help quickly correct any deficiency you see arise before adding it into the next watering cycle. 👊

Some say bottom feeding encourages better root growth as the plant sends roots down to collect it, the concept seems sound but I'm not experienced in it to confirm it but auto-pots work well enough although they do have a nice dry spell to encourage more root growth.

It's better because it flushes out salt buildup but you could instead opt to place pots in saucers and fill the saucers allowing them to feed themselves however if tou do this I recommend having a couple inches of pebbles in the bottom of the pot and feeding from the top until the pot is well rooted.
