White widow auto: it’s going 7 weeks now and the other 3 plants the same age all have been in flower except the WW auto. I read that a few folks had gotten photos from ILGM instead of the autos ordered…. How can I tell if it’s an auto or photo? does it just take a while for ww

I have heard of others getting photos vs autos from other seed brands as well, I have yet to personalty experience this yet myself but one day I am sure. I have also seen the opposite where one orders photo and they are sent autos. One way to test this is to flip it to 12/12 and see if it starts to develop any signs of flowering, also it will show small pistils in veg when it is sexually mature and ready to flower but not yet in flower. So if there is any of that on the plant then it might be a photoperiod. I get this is not ideal outdoor but if its in a pot can bring it into a dark area to facilitate the test. On the other side of this, I have seen some autos go for 10 weeks and not show any signs of flowering then magically they start out of no where where still on 18/6 light schedule. They can do a lot of weird things. Sometimes stress will make the plant enter flower, be it water or over fertilization. I see two options for you, KISS, leave it as it and let it finish when it does, Or bring it indoor at night and keep it dark and flip to flower if it really is an photoperiod. I am leaning toward its a late showing auto vs a photoperiod. High Yardbuds, The WW on the pictures is definitely a photoperiod. I have never heard from a autoflower strain that does not start to flower within a month. Happy Growing! 😋

The plants that are in flower now are autos - they have their own schedule and do not require light changes to start flowering... the plants that are not are photoperiods - they DO require a light change to start flowering and that should be happening soon .... and yes, seeds get mixed up ... I ordered 5 Tangerine Dream autos and got 4 Tangerine Dreams (REALLY tall and airy) and one unknown indica (short and bushy and massive buds... wish I knew what that was!). Good luck my friend... hope you've chosen a different nute line!

If it's a photoperiod, it should be done by the end of October (if you live in the northern hemisphere). Autoflowers are unpredictable, which is why I'm not a fan. It could start flowering at any time. White widow auto, from what I just read, should take about 3 months outside from seed to finish. Now, since you're in week 7, I would say it's a little early to tell. It could just be a little slow and start to bud this week. Only time will tell. I hope this helps.
