LSD Auto - Defoliation in veg?

I'm defoliating progressively the plant, this means that I remove a fan leave or two after LST. 4 in total until now, to increase the light exposure in the buds. Most of what I've found is controverse, a kinda 50/50 fight between the 'do' and 'don't do' it. Opinions? Thanks 😎

What you are doing is what I did with my first grow. I only pulled ones growing in towards the stems and only ones shading new growth sites. Check out my diary and see if you like the results! She's still growing but yeah stop by! Happy growing she looks great!

I'm pro defoliation 100% if you're removing leaves blocking significant light then that's great, or leaves sucking energy from the bottom great. Find a nice balance between helping the plants and harming/stressing them out. we Defos always remember we can take more away....but we can't put it back on.😁

Hi! You don't want to put too much stress to autos 'cos this will make them much smaller yield wise. I have my first autos coming and I have read and heard that little bit of stress at right time will delay flowering and the plant will benefit from this. This is what I will try with my autos: In the third week or when 4-5 nodes has grown, top and defoliate. When you see the plant starts to flower do one more good defo and thats it! and ofc do some LST/ control the evenness of the canopy From my understanding this will give you good yields
