What are these white hairs near the flower?

Please see the attached picture. What are these white hairs to the left of the flower? I don't see this anywhere else on this plant, with the exception of one fine strand elsewhere. I do have a dog with some white fur but this doesn't look like his hair at all.

dog hair... a piece of clothing with loose threads... that stuff is sticky... doesn't take much. sometimes your hands are sticky, you touch your shirt, then there is 5-10 strands on your hand... touch somethign else and it's on your buds or something you break up :P coulda floated in there, but it's a cluster so it prolly just walked by it and brushed it.

I would 100% agree with GrowingGrannie. Those are dog hairs. By the way, a very pretty little terrier! I share my house with a little size-obsessed Jack Russell lady =D The hair situation is really annoying. I even bought a new washing machine with a pet hair removal function ^^ Unfortunately, I have to ban my little one from the room with my grow box. That was the only way to get the hairs out of the grass -.-

It DOES look like dog hair... can't think of what else it might be!! Certainly nothing "weed" ... Good luck! At least your dog isn't eating your flowers!!
