Distante between LED and plants.

The distance between the LED and the plants is 53 cm. Is it ok for the first week? I've read that a short distance in this stage is good to produce a not so tall plant.

It can be anywhere from 50 to 75 cm. It all depends on the light.Some led's are stronger then others. Just watch the plants and if the stem gets long and they start stretching to much then its to high, If the leaves start pointing up and shape a V then it is to close.

New update got my new grow light dialed in.. And the nutes helped a lot seen more growth in one day than I had in the last 23 days! I am worried that if I place the light at the recommended height (6”) that would be too much so I’m running the lights at 50% power and at 12” away

light schedule change I wanna change light schedule for my babies.. for now they run from 07 to 24 hours and I want to run from 18 to 12 hours so I would have dark period during day.. should I just leave it to run for 30 hours and then introduce new "night" time?? Plants are 4 autos 7 and 8 weeks old

Lamp too hot So I set up my 600w hps and it got hot even with small fan in there! 41° and 10% humidity. I imagine if I left that she would by morning! Switcged back to cheap led for now, whats best was to cool tent? Its 1x1x1.8

What’s the ideal amount of LED light for top quality in a 4x4 tent.I’m exclusively looking to grow top end quality. Already can with HPS setup but wanting to switch. Is 480w Kingbrite LED quantum board with 385,660,730nm enough for this or do I need more? Any other suggestions? Aliexpress/Alibaba manufacturers preferred due to shipping costs.

MARS HYDRO TS600 LIGHT STILL ON WHEN TIMER SWITCHES OFF it is a known problem i found 2 forum posts discussing it. Different timers have been tried but it always remains the same. Someone said with a mechanical timer the problem is solved I will try that as soon as I have one. In any case, this is absolutely unacceptable.

Lights for auto plants, very low budget.I have a 250W CFL 6000K for small grow tent 1.75x1.5m First do i need a 3000k bulb for flowering? If so, i was intending to buy normal LED bulbs instead 1 big bulb. About 6 to 10 bulbs 15w 1400lumens each bulb. My question is, am i going for much worst than with the single CFL
