LST/Defoliation Advice

The LST clips are looking proper. I think you have done a good job applying them. As for defoliating the plants they are not ready for that kinda of treatment, Not only are they to small they are just not that bushy yet to do this to them. It can also be a bit stress full if to many leaves a removed. I would not think about that step untill you are in week 5 or 7. Then you can comeback to the idea when they are grown up a bit more. Ps, if you run out of clips you can use little bits of string tied aorund the plants stalks and then attached to the side of the pot via clips or holes made in the plastic.
