my lst is ok?

i had my first LST on my plants. i I tried to do it in 2 different ways, one bending the The main stem with a little movement of the leaves , the other is just to move the fan leaf's to to open up the leafs that block the light. Am doing ok?

It would help to know what you are growing. Photo period or auto? I train the stem/stalk as that is the core of the plant and will determine it's shape/size in the future. You picked a good time to start. As it grows I would continue to train the tip to be horizontal until it reaches about the edge of the pot. Then let it start to grow vertically. The lower branches will grow larger and you can train them to go to other sides of the pot so they all get good light. I would not train leaves especially at this early stage but it does not hurt. It just doesn't help. I Let the leaves do what they want during veg. Then if a large fan leaf is shading a bud you can tuck it under or trim it off.
