Hey guys. I have 4 Autos and 4 Photos Flowering exactly at the same time (long story) I have 8 weeks till I HAVE to harvest. I've just gone from 20/4 to 13hr on and 11hrs off for 5 days. Should I now go 12/12 or should I stay on 13/11 to give the Autos an extra he of light?

Hey friend if you have a mandatory 8 weeks until harvest, I wouldn't wait...i don't think an hour will make too much difference for the autos but kicking in that 12/12 will at least ensure the photos get going. Is there any other place the autos could go for a few hours each day for some extra light? It would be a pain moving them everyday but just a thought. ✌️

@Grovie6123 Hi there your photoperiod strain (blue dream) wouldn't be Mature in 8 weeks whether you flipped to 12/12 today or not because it usually takes atleast a week or so for the plant to transition into flowering after the flip. However if you MUST harvest in that time frame then definately flip now or all you will end up with is a big pile of leaf and tips. Autos are fine with any Lighting period because they are autoflowering and not dependent on light. So Flip today and the Autos will be fine and it will atleast give you something to harvest from your photo period strain as well.

If you’re primary objective is harvest in 8 weeks, in this case yes it’s time to switch to 12/12 !

Its an easy answer......Photoperiods NEED 12 hours of Darkness or more to go to flowering Stage................................................. Automatics perform te best under 18 hours of light. So your orientation got to be on the hotoperiods........ I have no experience with automatics under 12 hours LIght... but it may work..... Anything else dont works, because photoperiods need the darkness for 12 hours or more
