Using Disinfection Tablets In Humidifier

I wouldn’t add anything to your Humidifier in my opinion anything I put in the air is more than likely gonna get on my Plants and I want clean meds only so In my opinion you shouldn’t do it

You can mess up your humidifier by putting anything but distilled water in it. The ceramic heating piece can get covered in minerals and start spewing nasty stuff. Just a heads up.

Humidifiers produce steam. Anything dissolved in the water does not become part of the steam. Steam is pure water vapour, nothing more, nothing less. So, unless you want to disinfect your humidifier, adding it to the water will not do anything for your plants or your grow space - good or bad. It will however leave residue in your humidifier, which could cause issues with its workings, so why do it?

I guess I'd have to know WHY you want to do this... what is it you're trying to disinfect? At first glance, doesn't sound very good to me, tbh....

Hi Ive not heard of this before others might have but personally i wouldnt be doing it .. I dont like the idea of any harsh chemicals around the girls, try to keep them as happy as possible and not cause any un needed stress, Good luck 🌱
