The best results are obtained by drying marijuana slowly and within ideal parameters and absolute darkness: The ideal temperature should be between 18º and 24º. The perfect humidity between 45% and 55%. Total darkness. Temperatures below 18º delay drying, but humidity tends to increase rapidly. Temperatures above 24º can cause buds to dry out too quickly and cause humidity to drop below 50%. With my parameters and buds, I usually dry the marijuana between 12 and 15 days, and the best way to know if the marijuana is dry is to take a branch and break it. If the branch snaps and breaks, it's time to move on to curing the buds. If the branch does not break, it is still green. It is very important to control the state of the buds since excessive drying would turn our buds into dust and lose a lot of quality. Keep the good work mate

I was at around 63°F-69°F with around 55%-63% relative humidity in my dry rooms for close to 2 weeks before the stems broke like I wanted. A nice slow dry with a decent amount of humidity goes a long way in helping preserve flavor. Most cultivators that do their own processing shoot for 60°F and 60% relative humidity throughout a 11-14 day hang time.
