Hey, my plants are 5 weeks on veg, 6 on the final of this week, they are very big and I’m getting a little bit out of space, should I switch to flower with 6 weeks on veg?

Should have switched to flower 10-14 days ago, you are going to have major space issues as it is now. You can switch to flower after only 2-3 weeks, 6 weeks is plenty of veg time. You are growing 4 plants in an area designed for one photoperiod plant!

Yes you need to flip. I don’t wait that long to flip. For me (hydro) I flip at week 4-5 max. Soil is a bit different of course. What you need to do is defoliate so that you have good air flow otherwise you could end up with white powdery mildew and you don’t want that!! So, defoliate a lot, and wait a few days and then flip perhaps. You could try the lollipop method of defoliation. Good airflow is HUGE , especially going into and during flower. You don’t want WPM in buds cause then it’s game over. Good luck and happy growing.

Yeah, i can summarize the answers for you. Since everything important was said. You already a bit far, normally you want to initiate flowering when 80% of horizontal space is filled, the flower push is crazy, IF plants have the space. Now just let them flower instantly and keep it beyond 65% RH, very important. If you cant keep the RH, deolfiate, mostly the lower shadowed parts.

you're already a bit late. if you set it to 12/12 and the stretch phase begins, it could get pretty tight in your tent

Yeah, I'd flip to flower sooner rather than later. Personally I'd strip lower growth and give a couple days to recover before the flip.

looks crowded, I'd flip asap. maybe do a bit of a clean up on some of the under canopy growth to get nice airflow.

yeah, you probably should have flipped before this point. Gotta have faith that when it is 1/2 full it'll fill in fine after flip. you still get ~4 weeks of solid vegetative growth before it stops, and some go longer than that. No biggie, but if areas get overcroweded, thin it out a bit before tufts of pistils form. on the terminals - 14+ days from flip. 3 colas per sq ft is all you need to maximize yield. Working backward from an intended canopy can make these decisions automatic too... once you get the branches trained in place with scrog, let it go vertical at flip or even a few days before flip if they are big stretchers. Takes a little imagination to visualize just how much growth to expect... rate of growth keeps speeding up as the plant gets larger up to any limitations imposed on it indoors.
