Cheap Bennies?

Looking for a cheap alternative to Orca/Recharge/Mic. Mass/Tarantula or something to make crazy root growth in DWC and keep root rot at bay. Would toilet compost microbes work? Pond sludge remover has helped me but I'm hoping others have ideas - I want roots like in the pic!

DNS, Dutch nutrient solution. Made for DWC. Clear nutrients. When using this your roots won't get stained, so it's easy to see if roots are doing good or something is going wrong..

These roots are from DWC. To get roots like this it takes a clear nutrient like DWC so they stay so white. When DWC is done right, this is the roots you end up with. To Roberts, when you have roots so heavy they literally form to the bucket like this. I have pics just like this from when I grew DWC. To get roots like this it takes keeping the ph and ppm at the perfect levels at all time. You need lots of air bubbles, a chiller to keep the water very cool and you need to clean them buckets every week to 2 to keep everything sanitized. These roots are very much from DWC and anyone should be able to do exactly the same results...When done right....

If you can keep your temperature below 20c and run synthetic salt based nutrients you don't need any of the root booster/protectors. Just keep the light out and temps low. All of my grows I have not used any of them and get a nice root wheel by the end.

Those roots are not even dwc. They were in a Potter. Can see form on bottom. I have been root pruning to make my roots get a lot denser and keeping them shorter and controlled. Root rot starts with water not cool enough, and not enough aeration. The pruning let's me control how long roots get and keeping more solution for a more stable pH. Plus I had issues with rot till I started doing it this way. I increased my air flow as well with bigger pump, and silica air stones. Roots getting enough air is very important.

“Photosynthesis plus” is highly recommended. I’m not sure where it sits price wise but it’s amazing stuff
