this is my first grow really. this plant has been under 4 different lights. I think I found one I really like. I moved it to the solar system 550. does changing lights or times matter with autos?

Nope... autoflowers are pretty rugged that way - they have a will to live and grower-be-damned! LOL! 18/6 is an ideal schedule for light and dark - but last winter I had to run my lights 24/7 to keep the temps up in my tent and my girls didn't bat an eye... This year, I'm trying them on 20/4 and again, they don't care although I DO see them start to sag just before lights out as if to say "Mom, I'm tired, I need to take a nap" ... LOL! But the overall message here is no, they are not stressed by the 4 different lights, changing times or anything you've put them through! Enjoy the journey and good luck!

No she is just hungry for light and as long as it is the right spectrum and strong enough than she will be happy with it. And I can ensure you that the Solar System 550 got both of those thing covered. Autoflowers love the 18/6 light cycle during the entire grow the most. Some growers prefer the 20/4 light cycle but I don't think that the extra used energy and costs gain enough extra yield to make it worthy. So my advice, use the Solar System 550 it is a great lamp and keep her on a 18/6 light cycle till the end.
