I'm going to switch my plants to flowering 12/12, I've read that they leave them without light for 48 hours to force flowering, is this good or should I just skip it?? And I have a dimmable ballast, I have it set to 400w, when I switch to 12/12 should I set it to 600w or wait until the second week of flowering to change it to 600w??

There's no reason to do a 48 hour period of darkness... simply changing your lighting to a 12/12 will start the flowering process - and you can increase the lights when you do the flip... they'll appreciate as much light as they can get as they flower... again, no need to wait!

I have personally never heard of the 'dark before flower' idea, only the 48 hour 'dark before harvest'. For myself when I transition to 12/12 I usually do it over a 4-5 day period taking 1.5 hours off per day until reaching 12/12. After reaching 12/12 I usually turn my lights up to higher power.

Does she need more light ?Does my plant need more light she is under a 300 watt light I do have a spare do I need to put it to use ? She seems to be growing a Lititle slow for 2nd or 3rd week I am using advanced nutrients grow, micro, bloom any help would be great this is my 1st grow thanks

When to switch LED to 100% power?Another question. I appreciate everyone's response to the last ones.
I am finding it difficult to google this one. When do I switch my LED to 100%? Currently, I am running it at roughly 60% at about 24in. Am I in 'true' veg? Its working on its 3rd node that has 5 fingers.5y ago
