No, extended darkness just stresses your plant and the last thing you want to do right before harvest and after months of careful growing, is to stress your plants.
Just harvest as usual after a normal day/night schedule.
Extended darkness will not magically turn your buds into anything more special than they already are, it is an urban myth.

You've taken a shot of trichomes on a leaf which are not the best indicator... if these were on a bud, I'd say chop away...
