There's lots of bad info out there on this.
First, clear does not mean devoid of THC... that's silly.
Secondly, any clouding is a sign of degradation of the molecules and not the "optimal" level.
What got lost is that this is an average of development that does not start at the same time... so the suggestions are probably fine but the causality ppl use to fill in the gaps is wrong. 10-50% cloudy or more if you like couchlock.
some strains will not develop the same.. some just refuse to show amber for a long time - believe that's a carryover sative trait? could be wrong.
So, when trichomes are odd, use other phyiscal traits to help choose your consistent harvest point -- pistil coloration, density of nugs will help guide.
just because i use a word like "degradation" doesn't mean it is "worse" ... personal proference is 90% of when you harvest.. if you like the couchlock type weed, let it ripen longer with proportionally more 'degradation.'
