Any way to save my clones, and have healthy clones from these? I took these about 7 weeks ago and life got ahead of me. The plants these are from are great

I took these clones 7 weeks ago and never got around to transplanting them. As you can see, they are rootbound, stretched, and stunted. My question now is, is there any way I can make these clones usable? If not, it's a lesson for next time, but I want to use these clones.

I honestly don't see why not.... once you get them into larger pots, you can top the ones that have stretched ... what to do with the stunted ones really depends on how/why they were stunted but if you tend them carefully, maybe even think about topping them as well to get new growth going, you could have quite a massive grow going from the looks of it! I wouldn't give up on them - not at all! Just get them into larger pots and get going! :-D Good luck...

They look ready to use to me. Clones will bounce back once you transplant them. There is also a fun contest about growing full sized plants in smaller containers like a solo cup, so the possibilities are there. There is a lot of good advice listed below, I myself would go along the line of topping and giving it some LST to after a transplant. FYI: We will not be notified of any reply or tag [@] in the questions part of the website, if you need to reach out with other information use your DM "direct mailbox" in the bottom right hand corner of the page. it looks like a little paper airplane icon. Best Of Luck!

Within 3-7 days of transplant they will take off like a rocket. i wish i had some pictures up of similar situation recently... had 20-some clones in cups.. barely took up a 4x4 space.. within a week from transplant you wouldnt' have recognized them as the same plants with just 7 days between. you might want to top them or bend them over (LST). can also bury an inch or two to shorten them up if you think it stretched too much. Regardless if you give proper light and room for roots, they'll get more robust and thicken up.

Yeah man you’re good. I do this all the time. I’ve had 2 foot plants in solos. They can recover from damn near anything with time.. these look in decent shape. Once you transplant them , after a week or so they’ll take off. Just break up the root ball good and don’t be scared to get rough with it - this will encourage new root growth. Using some mycos will help too with roots.

I do not think that they are stunted but they are definitely rootbounded. You can get them out of the solo cups and gently make the roots a little loose. Be carefull, you only want to get them out of the knob and not damage them. Then you can still transplant them. They need some time to recover! First water close to the clone and when they start to grow again you want to water around the edge of the pot. When you do this the roots got to search for the water and for that reason grow all the way to the side of the pot. For future grows with clones it is smart to keep them inside fabrique or air pots so they do not get rootbounden because then they will get airpruned.
