Looking for info on an old strain. From Central America, likely sativa with 9 to 12 leafs per span. The center leaf was very long and curled under. I grew one from bag seeds years ago. Any ideas?

Hello. I started smoking during the land race times. I remember getting stuff in from Mexico, with the province name on it Like Michoacán, Sonoran, and Oaxacan ( O-hawk-can). There were the old strains like Columbian Gold and Acapulco Gold and Panama Red that are good enough that seed banks still offer them as land race strains. Now that I've given you some names, look them up to see if they can jog a memory of what they grew like. 😊 Hope that helped. Chuck. Nice Beard by the way.

Thanks Chuck I know all those old land race strains and Jamaican or one of those islands keeps hinting in my mind but I think it was Central America. That would have been the early 70's so I just don't remember. I have been thinking of growing some Acapulco Gold sometime in the future.
