Yes, as someone who has bred 1000s of seeds, I would say, way too late. Seed making is best done between weeks 2 and 3 of flowering to give the required 4-5 weeks of time for proper seed maturation.

It looks like it to me. The buds are pretty far along, which makes me think that if you did pollinate it right now, you would get very pre-mature seeds by the time you harvested.
