Light schedule change

Hi there , I run a lemon ak from fastbuds , light schedule is 20/4 this is the third week of flower, the humidity is 52% most of the time unless those 4 hours of dark when the humidity is over 60%. The question is, does make sense to switch to 24/0 ? Will this stress the plant ?

Hey again buddy. Well I have the very same problem pal. My RH was hitting 80% in my tent and was around 70% in my room. How I lowered it, was I dehuimified the room and was able to bring the RH down to 48% in my room and I also sent up an smart intake fan to blow air in on the top and had another intake fan take air out of the bottom but this only brought my RH down from 57% to 55%, see your RH no matter how low it is in my room I will not get it any lower, only way to get it to match the Room would be to leave the tent open (and that will run the risk of pests), or take half the plants out of my 70x70 this would lower the RH. So, if you are trying to hide it within your house that must mean you have to keep your grow room door closed with the grow tent inside it, that will drive the RH up to around 70-80% am I right? Or it will once the plants get bigger. I had this problem cause the fan noise was annoying too. You could leave a bedroom window open and would bring the RH in the room down to the RH outside? Or only other thing is a dwhuimufer bud. But even so, I can get the RH in my grow room as low as 38% If i wanted but the RH in the tent still stays at 57-60% because of its size 70x70x169 it's made it's own envoirndnt. Once u can keep the range below 70% which still is very high and will lower the quality of your bud during flowering but you will still get away with it. Try taking the windows off the tent also but if your rooms RH is high and it would be if you have the room door/windows closed? DM me brother.

I think in your case from what I can read here the need to keep humidity at acceptable levels and noise down at the same time will be of much more relevance to you than any undesirable effects through the lack of dark period (which I doubt happens anyway). Absolutely go for 24 hours with that auto, it's difficult enough to dial things in when stealth is crucial and space at a premium.

Again, Mr weed autos, read the question. Hi buddy. Em, tbh I don't think changing it to a 24/0 from a 20/4 is a good idea. No where in the world does a healthy plant get 24hrs of sun. Yes, u can run autos on a 24 and no, changing it wouldn't stress the plant but it will hamper it, plants need a light break, or you'll run into probs such as light stress stalled grow, slow growth, bleaching of the bud. Plants need their rest. Stick to the 20/4 no light 24hrs. Good luck pal.

Hey Growmie, At this point, No, the plant is already in flower, so I wouldn't advise messing with the light cycle. The point of growing autos is that you don't have to change the light cycle for them to flower, so you're good at 20/4. Most people who grow autos use a 24/0, 20/4, or an 18/6 light cycle, I personally use an 18/6 light schedule. Feel free to shoot me a holler if you ever need any help, I'd be honored to assist you. Hopefully, this was helpful, and remember ... "Happy Growing" and "Free your mind one puff at a time".
