Started this week with the last top I'm gonna. Do if I get the other tent set up soon I'll go ahead and get some clones. And start think if I wanna keep a mom outta here. I'm itching to run this super lemon haze I got. So might. Just rush this along a bit but growing. These Oklahoma native beauty's is nice and this spliffs strawberry has ran right along and is still doing just fine. And is keeping there pace. Nice strain so far. But I got a feeling. The Ss is gonna go bat shit crazy in the flower stretch. They did outside. That's why I've kept them so low. And will be trying to keep them low as possible just in case. They try to trip in size as usual I feel like the spliff got jealous the other 2 were yellowing. Fast so had to start feeding. Separately but not even 2 days of this and I notice. The spliff starting to yellow. First. And that was a first. So now once again just water and feed all together. And they happy. Again weird like they was fighting over it. Happy growing everyone.D45 they was getting lil to bushy n some tops. Kept getting no light. So had to strip um a bit they growing good no problems happy growing everyone ....D48 looked at the trellis nets I got from vivosun like elastic but a put them up and just...no couldn't seem to see how this would help maybe they still to small for the net idk but took them off broke out the chops spun everything and staked um low and out more. Still not used to the why they grow vrs outside. Growth so just trying to add the tops and keep um all table flat figure that's probably easier to do from the start so D48 out......

At this stage you could use only 1 lamp at 250 and it would be fine. After the 3d week of growth ends, you can add more and once it goes into flower you can blast it with the full power.

You have a Coco/perlite mix , if your original coco mix contains between 50 to 80% of coco fibers it should contain 50 to 20% of coco coir , to me their is a difference between fibers and coirs but both are coco ( I am using the fibers from local caribbean coconuts to improve my soil while I am using the coir to stricly grow cannabis ) so when you add 0.6 kg ( 1.5 pounds ) of perlite then you only add more "soiless" medium. So no soil but mostly coco in your case. In coco to correctly feed you will have to bring Calcium and magnesium ( cal/mag) with every watering because coco medium is cal/mag free . Your feeding schedule will also be different from a soil schedule , maybe similar or close to an hydro schedule because the Ec /ppm level are higher in coco and hydro than in soil. Last thing and the most important is the Ph of the medium , it should be 5.8PH ( the sweet spot ) even if you can start at 5.5 and slowly increase to 5.8 then 6.0 or 6.2 but it's better to stick to the 5.8 ph sweet spot if you are a begennier to keep it simple , and you will have to double check the ph , as you need to check your watering solution PH BUT ALSO the water runoff PH ( and ppm ) to see if there is a difference between the input and the outpout and do a PH fluctuation : if the output PH is different then correct the input ( for exemple if your output is 5.7 then watter with a 5.9 ph input to get back to 5.8 )

Hello.. Hope you are well.. Great job on ur females.. Very rarely see a 11 or 13 leaf strain.. Congrats.. 👏.. They looking healthy.. 👌.. Had a look at ur dairy n u seem to have great growth conditions.. Maybe try to raise water/feed solution to ph6-6.2 while in veg.. Curl cud b a low ph thing goin on.. Ur lamp distance and air temp look fine tho.. Only other thing i can think is maybe turn ur circulation fan(if u av 1 on) inside tent down a bit if it has settings or dont have it blowing directly on ur plants.. Hope all goes well.. Gud luck n stay safe.. 👍🍀

You might try a thermostat plug like this one: https://www.amazon.com/Lux-Automatic-Programmable-Thermostat-Compatible/dp/B000E7NYY8/ref=sr_1_6?dchild=1&keywords=plug+in+thermostat&qid=1589164634&sr=8-6

hey there Rovairok, that's actually a great plan but it might take longer to do than you think : another 4 weeks minimum i'd say. That's fine though, much more than that and it's almost diminishing returns. Realistically i can imagine you'll be patient as long as you can be, then flip right? Anyway, just make sure you do all your defoliation and lollipopping a week or ten days before the flip , and i'm sure you're golden. Hope this helps ! 🚀

Guys I'm starting to wonder if I should. Maybe. Flush the coco with some. Calmag water. To flush salts. That you guys think it's been 11 weeks.? I get about 50% run off usually to help maybe not half to flush but they drinking a lot now. So what you guys think?

Are you monitoring the EC of your runoff? If it is 300 or more higher than your inflow then a flush couldn't hurt. When I flush I take the appropriate nute solution and dilute to 50% normal EC and water at twice the normal volume. Then just resume your nute schedule. Flushing should be sort of a last resort if you can't get your runoff EC back to target range with more frequent watering at slightly higher volumes.

My friend , no worries. You can bring the light back down. Revisit this later with a new grow question if needed..? If your temps stay where they are now, things look to be all right.

@EthosMultipassMemberRovairok, It's actually the opposite that happens according to me, a early excess that has been corrected yet. I explain , the soil was already hot a 400ppm and you bring a 300 or 200 ppm watering solution so you bring a god amount of nutrients during 1st week and when the medium is enriched like that the 1st set of leaves ids often distorded dur to the fact that she needs to accliate to the medium , some leaves can have a puffy look but it generally disepears after the second node . A second grower advice would be perfect

Both coco and perlite are inert media, so treat it as you would regular coco. The added perlite will make it more aireated and reduce its ability to hold onto water a bit.

well i took at risk running these girls and ya they messed the strain up everything but the spliff is getting balls sux very good strain laid to rest i was hoping there would be some good seeds left but looks like after 47 years this is here last run im just gonna go ahead and let um finish you guys got to see the pics of one of the oldest oklahoma strains around one of a kind everything is already silver triked out and very stinky good keep these seeds just for the memory and one day maybe i can work these girls back to perfection
EthosMultipassMemberRovairok
Computer has been down no internet yet once they come. Hook everything back up I'll get some more pictures going.

Another note I noticed for anyone new to coco like I am I feed every day. Once a day. The amount varies with this method depending on how much they drink but. I started with a gal a plant. They in 5 gal square pots some more like 7 gal but today I noticed. If I wait a lil longer I can use. 1200 to 2000 ml and get run off. But. I've noticed the ph likes to climb kinda fast. And they tend to yellow fast from the ph flux. So I like a fast run off myself. And more than most. People but it's working great. Happy growing
EthosMultipassMemberRovairok
turned the hids down to 400 to give a bit to feel out the new lights
EthosMultipassMemberRovairok
food seems to be working color is nice and they grew a couple inches while i was at work this might be a good set up temp is easy to keep anywere from 65 to 85 my choice there rh stary under 40 with all the fans on so i can just water them and let the drain sit keeps it around 50% this way might change once they get bigger time will tell but ya im liking this set up from everything ive read this is perfect co2 stays over 800 to not sure why maybe it cause i spend all day in my bedroom with my girl not sure but that good too could be better but ive noticed they light 80+ the best in temp probly do to the high co2 in here will post some pics this week happy growing everyone
EthosMultipassMemberRovairok
not sure what it is but these girls love the lights on full blast and around 13 inches away for a 600watt mh
EthosMultipassMemberRovairok
i have not had any calmag def even when not feeding for a long time but i did soak this coco in 1300 ppm calmag for 24 hours twice
EthosMultipassMemberRovairok
Mental note to self next run use name tags.....
EthosMultipassMemberRovairok
man took 6 gallons to get a good amount of drain off outta 6 5 gallon square fabric pots granted ive been skimping of the water to let them grow in a bit i ran the nuts as posted ran the ph 5.7 tested run off ppm was around 500 ph was around 6.5 so just gonna run like this unless something needs tweeked cut the 2 lil ones that was in soil still got 2 more in soil in the plastic pots not sure if im keeping them or not happy growing
EthosMultipassMemberRovairok
for got to add that menas my ph swing is from 5.6 ish to 6.5 over 2 ta 4 days nice ;)
EthosMultipassMemberRovairok
and forgot to add d19 was the last day i had no food nuts came in today will do a lil more water than usual and lest try to flush somewhat of the old out and get this new nuts mix in there got my 16 inch saucers in too and my line so fixing to build a auto drain system to simplify that area still gonna go with hand water but ive no life outside growing and working so not a problem with me to water 2 times and this keeps me looking at um more being rusty its probly best and its a hell of a lot easier to prevent problems than fix them
EthosMultipassMemberRovairok
nuts mixed are come out high like 1000+ppm but i got another mix of tap and 2ml cal mag and i weaken the nuts down to 400 with this calwater mix will keep these the same for veg will up the ppm by 50 everyweek for this first run less they look hungry i got a feeling the spliff wants more as is she still yellow and still poppin yellow growth but i over water and stuff so taking it slow could just be damage from my improper care to start
EthosMultipassMemberRovairok
Day19...not to bad im starting to like the coco more and more as i learn and use it im not getting bad growth but im not getting what im used ive noticed myself making mistakes i know better than but one thing at a time doubled up on water this last time and feed some calmag with a ml of fox farm had too was getting to yellow very low in N but kept them from getting worse and did greenify the yellow to a point they been through a lot in 2 weeks so gonna let them relax im getting my nuts in tomorrow so i was gonna flush with the new nuts but i want to give the roots as long as possible just me being nervous still so gonna wait tell sunday and ill increase the water im giving and see how they take that and go from they happy growing everybody 👌
