Hanging buds to dry?

Does anyone have preferences or notice any difference is hanging buds to dry or placing them on a dry rack net, any tips or experiences are helpful! Thanks :)

When you place them on a net, keep in mind to turn them over every 2 days to keep them in shape. Hanging in my personal opinion is always the best answer, but it is not always possible. Depends on environment, space, personal preference and density of your buds. Whatever you find works best for you is the way to go :)

I like Creepy_Steve's answer here as he's spot on - but will also say that some folks think that drying racks end up making the buds misshapen.. "bag appeal" issues... but if you're growing for yourself, I think that would be the LAST thing I'd worry about! LOL!

use it to manipulate drying times... if you need more length, hang entire plant or entire branch.. if drying to slowly cut down to buds and put on mesh racks. the answer here mostly depends on your ambient environmental variables.... the time it takes to dry is relevant... whether attached to a limb or entire plant doesn't cause any difference in outcome except the time it takes to dry.... which depends on your temps and RH whether you want to delay or speed that process up.
