Another question about the transplant process. Do I water the substrate completely with nutrients after I transplant or just with PHed water? Also should I top?

At this stage, I would concentrate more on giving it a root enhancer rather than regular nutes although a LIGHT dose of nutes wouldn't be bad unless your soil already has nutrients in it... You need to give it some time to recover from the stress of the transplant. So this week, I'd water with just some root enhancers and then next week you can start the nutes... As for the topping, you don't want to do that right away either since that is also a very stressful technique and the plants are far too young... let them recover from the transplant first and then when they have 5 or 6 nodes, you can top. Red stems, btw, simply indicate stress and that is generally a nute stress or pH out of range... some purple strains will have naturally red stems so don't confuse the two. Good luck!

I would stick with ph’d water until I was sure the plants were ready for nutes, and then only go half strength or less. Nute burn is easy to do, so I recommend researching nutes for autos. Topping autos is also a matter of growers preference. You may have added stress with transplanting autos, not sure I would top it too. I would definitely look in to adding some low stress training (LST) in the next couple weeks. Good luck on these Mephs. Excited to see so many Illuminati’s going at once.

After transplanting, plain water is essential. Avoid nutrients/fertilizers for at least a week after transplanting. If transplanting into quality, healthy soil, fertilizers may not be needed for 3-4 weeks. Seaweed tonics are th only exception, and may be used both before and after transplanting. Seaweed tonic fortifies your plants against stress and also is a great root stimulator, exactly what is needed after being transplanted. If you are growing autos, no, don't top. Otherwise, all other types of normal cannabis can be topped quite safely.

I would give a small dose of calcium and magnesium.. I myself have 5 or 6 pairs of leaves and the top off. the slight redness of the stems can be caused by overwatering, usually the not so small ones suffer from a lack of nutrients...
