Can anyone please advise, with regards to my first grow when this needs harvesting? There are still some buds growing that are only just sprouting so confused.

It could possibly be due to autoflower genetics like Lucidrush said. I have a Purple Auto in the same tent and the buds on that, while still young are much bigger than these northern lights were at the same stage.

UnorthodoxDude It's been a few weeks since they started budding. I've had it running 18 hours with light, with a FECiDA 600W LED Grow Light set at 80% brightness, along with b&q verve soil. BLACK ORCHID Heavy Duty Reflective Mylar Grow Tent 70 x 70 x 160 cm. There's no light leak as in a pitch black room as it is, apart from slight light in the day, when the grow light is on anyway. With it being my first grow, definitely happy it's been budding but certainly not the amount I was looking for.

I wish you had a diary for this, these buds look really underdeveloped to me, this plant is nowhere near harvest IMO. How many days since sprouting?

Just to add, I've been using Tomorite up until now, do I need to flush for a week, or is it okay to remove now?

@LucidRush Yes, Autoflower with 18 hours of light. Maybe too much? Organoman I'll do that, I always thought flowers were ready for harvest at the same time, some have only just started sprouting, lower down. @GrowingGrannie That was an old diary for an initial grow, which failed as I was hospitalised, and as didn't know how long I'd be in, decided to turn the lights off. I didn't bother with a diary this time but will for the next grow, - Thanks all!

Are these autoflower? If so, it may a quirk of the genetic arm twisting. If not it looks like a light leak or timing thing. Others here may be more useful. Is your room dark for 12 uninterrupted hours?

Once the buds have 95-99% brown pistils, they are in the harvest window. You can harvest the top, more mature half first and leave the lower more immature half for harvesting a week or so later..........if you don't want to harvest the whole plant at once.

You don't seem to have updated your diary on this grow? You'll always have buds that are still growing so that's not an issue... To really know how much longer you might have, we'd need an updated diary and a closer look at the trichs... Good luck!
