Hello. When I used tape for the first time the branch healed and then I took the tape off and pulled some of the bark off. Now I wrap some cotton gaze around it first then tape it up. When I take the tape off now it doesn't tear. I also use powdered sulphur on all my plants cuts and bruises. Get it at any garden center. Chuck.

Hmmmm tape. Really not a fan. As, the part you need to heal. Needs airflow. To seal any broken tissue. Get a stick and run I down the stem..I take it she still lives After 12-24hrs if leafs start to droop. She's gone. So get your stick and tie with a bow not and tie it. As its a node you'll need to readjust and so on to make sure you don't cut into the node. Or if she's good enough to do. You could just put 3 ties around with. Sponge tie would be best. But anything with a bit of spring to it if it pushes but will still hold. A covid mask has string that go around your ear. (String would be best) but it you should be able to make a few ties and you'll see it push out. And just readjust as needed. Hope you can save this node. I've a few more ideas. If you have trouble with what I said. As it might need a dif approach depending on where and how she is cut. You might need to brace her. And leave leaning on something and with ties then. But if you do it right. As she grows.. She'll knit herself back together. You might hear about pastes.. but, again..if you can get a proper seal, I generally think it growing out will pull her back together. Good luck Good luck

Personally, I wouldn't use anything, not even tape. If it hasn't wilted by now, everything is ok. Tape can cause issues with excess moisture, leading to fungal disease,.......minor breaks are best left exposed to the air to heal. The (un-aided) recovery powers of cannabis is remarkable.

You’ll usually know within 24 hours if it’s gonna make it or not. If it wilts quickly it’s a bad sign. If it hasn’t in 24 or so it’s probably gonna make it
