When/if is it okay to defoliate an Autoflower. Critical 2.0

Is it safe to defoliate an Autoflower at 4 weeks old. She has not started flowering yet and I'm a new grower so I'm not sure if I should yet or not. I've done a little LST to her and she is a little bit bushy. Any advice on when/ if I should defoliate would be greatly appreciated

Well I chose not to defoliate but rather just tuck a few leaves back out of the way and here the other day I fucked up and mixed too much nitrogen in a spray bottle not knowingly and ended up I believe giving it nutrient burn. It wasn't anything that I watered it with it was just a foliar spray that I sprayed it down a couple good times with but since I've flushed it really well not needing it probably because like I said I didn't put any in the soil and I've been spraying her with just plain water and I think she's starting to come out of it or at least I hope. Some of the leaves don't look too good but she seems to still be growing so I'm hoping it didn't stunt her

I would agree with the guy who said before flip but you don’t flip an auto flower so not sure where he’s going with that lol

No, No, No, No don't defoliate autoflowers, they're not meant be be stressed like that, you're doing exactly what you're supposed to be doing stretching it out to the side with LST and letting the light in...If you defoliate and it takes 3 days to recover that's 3 days lost productive growth, defoliation is meant for photo period plants which have ample time to recover, same reason you don't top a autoflower...It's counter productive, if someone defoliated a auto like a photoperiod 2 weeks before flower and 7,14, 21 days after flowers, that would be 12 counter productive days recouping, not worth it...

not necessary yet, it's not too thick. You can tear off the very bottom floor.

A couple of days before the flip if there is lot of foliage go ahead and remove a few selective fan leafs. (For instance if 1 node is bigger than another you can slow the nodes that's behind by removing a few fan leafs). (Look up online more on this tech) but generally what you do to on 1 node try do to the other side (the sets), to keep even energy distribution. You'll know a few days before a flip. It'll be really slow (the shoot coming out, and you'll see hairs at the side and on the node where the bracts will be later on in the flower stage. (You'll see the hairs) there'll also be a stand alone node that grows into the shoot below the shoot tats flipping to make the start of your cola. Now you want to start defol days before as when you start to see those white hairs pop up in the top of your shoots your entering pre flower. So after you enter pre flower, say 15-21 days, aim for 21 (you'll know when its over as she'll stop putting on upwards height, "the stretch", after that you can do defol. You'll want to leave at least 1-2 sets of fan leafs, (now leave the smaller leaves closest to the stem. "What will be your sugar leafs later as your bud develops) you want the big fan leafs. But yes, you should leave 1-2 sets of fan leafs on top of each node/cola. (Where you can get away at the top leaf tuck).. and you want to leave the ones at the end. These will be where your buds points should stop. But 1stly LST her and find how much room you can open her up with full foliage as later in your grow she'll be a lot more to her. So LST 1st then apply everything I just said. After your defol after pre flower. No more. The colas should be exposed and make for long colas. Or better bud sites depending which way you go..as defol is an art of sorts you really do learn so much more by just giving it a dig. But, you need to know the times. I'd suggest you go into it more with someone or just search defol autos 101. The days of ppl saying don't defol an auto are gone. Done right. And proper it can be very good for your end result.. Happy growing.
