I lucked out, it's female of a landrace wild-collected Sativa from West Africa. The plant has entered the pre-flowering stage on a 13/11 but is still somewhat small due to stress inflicted by my beginner's mistakes in earlier phases. Will she grow more? Should I just clone her?

two things , she'll definitely grow, especially now with the tiny bit of extra space, but i think i know what you're asking : will it become a monster ? well no, it's in a smallish pot with soil, try soiless next time in the same size pot and it'll be bigger. Pot size matters ! Unless you revery back to veg all you can expect is a flower stretch, that means the plant will grow 2 to 3 times larger in the next 2 to 6 weeks (depends on the genetics, so lets see!) If you do revert back to veg that's called "monster cropping" i believe or is that super cropping ? lots of wierd names, point is it's a technique : if you control lighting, you can go back to veg with absolutely no problems , just keep her there a few weeks then transplant to a bigger pot, keep it there another week then start flowering again, the plant gets confused (hopefully) and produces more biomass. This technique produces increased end yields and potency , so go for it if that's what you're after ! Hope this helps ! 🚀

It is not recommended to clone a plant when it comes into bloom During her stretch if you do not stress she will grow well Gradually increases the fertilizer dose and sprinkles with clear water once in four to prevent any risk of root saturation. May the force be with you 💪Good luck for your grow

Hey @scribs this looks like a good find. She seems to be growing great but the dieing leaves and lack of potential would be because the size of the pots they are in. Same thing happened with my Mexican Haze grow they started to stop veg growth because she was getting root bound. I say a 5 gallon pot is a great size not to big but plenty of space for a healthy root system to form. Transplanting her now will cause some stress but veg growth should return after she recovers (apply LST at this time). And the light cycle I would say is also preventing the girl from flourishing. 2 of my Zkittlez girls started in a 12-12 cycle room and they were significantly behind in growth compared to the girls in my 18-6 room. Either than this i think you are doing great she is looking healthy I would say you have missed your cloning opportunity as she is in pre flower. Goodluck keep up the good work 👌🏼.

There is so much potencial if you let her grow under 16/8 a few more weeks and give her bigger shoes. About 3 extra weeks and 11 to 15L pot should do the job. You can´t let her potential flow in such a small pot. That´s one of the reasons she is still so small. No space for roots will lead to tiny grows.

Will she grow more ? With 13/11 light cycle ? Well it depends on how long you keep it on 13/11 ... should you take a clone ? Well I don’t see any clones except if you sacrifice one of these 2 tops .... I would say no if you have plenty others seeds of this strain, I would say yes if it was your last seed and you really wanna save the genetics...

Hello Scribs, nice job on finding this african strain in the wild 👍 I would love to strain hunt like you did. On to the matter of subject : The girl you have now will not grow alot due to the light shedule, the late transplant (your roots are not established enough), the state your plant is in now and the pot size she is in now (you cant transplant again at this stage) If you have the possibility to collect another example i recommend you do that. Start with 20 sunhours and 4 hours of darkness or 18/6 not with 12/12. Transplant whenever your roots are well established but not rootbound. If the leaves reach the sides of the redcups your can normaly transplant to a bigger pot. Put your plant as long as you need in veg to form and train her the way you want her to look like when she flowers out. Also do not overfeed her and give her the right nutrients if you can for veg. Then when your happy with her form and shape you put her into flower by giving her 12 hours of light and 12 hours of darkness. This would simplify the whole situation, if your not able to collect another sample then i would do the next things. Take 1 or 2 cutting(s) on a lower part of your plant and put the cutting(s) in veg, the rest of the plant you can just flower it out as she is. I do not recommend you transplant anymore, it might kill your girl due to much stress. (try to only transplant in veg and to the right size) I hope this is information was helpfull my friend. Keep on growing, GoodLuck and Peace 👍

@Scribs Congratulations on finding and successfully attaining a landrace strain from your home country!! Mega kudos for that !! i think it will be fine to continue growing although a clone or two would guarantee the survival of the strain so you could do both. This is a sativa strain by the looks so you will need to employ some Low stress training techniques to tame the incredible stretch these guys can attain. Best of luck with this I will follow along and see how you go.

If you can put her into a 18/6 cycle and a bigger pot , if your growing area allows it at this point she may not turn into the biggest plant. When she vegging you can take a clone but I would want her to be bigger for that . Bigger container and more time then clone and out her I to flower is what I would do ...cool to see where you got her from and the whole story behind this grow is great good luck with this one gonna follow ...

Congrats its A Girl. You have kept her to long in those solocups. If you want a big girl give her biiig Shoes ( 30 l ) and aftr that transplant her and send her into flower. Be aware of 10-13 weeks of flower... and i hope your growspace is big enough for her. She will stretch500-700 percent.... cloning--- yes you can clone her .... always before flowers appear you can cut some clones now, Iam following to look how she does... happy cloning
