I have sprayed plants with neem oil, done a neem oil soil flush and also put sticky yellow fly traps in tent. Still catching lots of fungus gnats. Cannot seem to get rid of them. Anything else to try or will they eventually catch them all? Any help would be greatly appreciated

Place traps next to the soil, let it dry, really dry. You may water your plants from below while that, but if you can, let your plants ask for water, they will leave from the soil and be trapped on the yellow stick. After that, high concentration neem oil on the soil, not the let it moist again. For a few days eggs will hatch and fly. You must keep soil dry for at least one week.

you could use a funnel to feed the plants push tube into soil so top remains dry water underneath as such

Hi @Fergie1984 Eggs, larvae, and pupa, will all live in the top inches of the soil. They will need moisture and fungal spores to survive. By simply allowing the top 2 inches of your medium to dry out between waterings, you will make it harder for the fungus gnats to live there. At the very least, this will massively reduce the amount of bugs in the grow room. Most cases of bugs and pests can be put down to bad waterting practise. It is vital, especially when growing with soil or organically, to allow the medium to dry out a little between waterings. Good luck mate 🙏👍

Hey @Fergie1984! I got two ways of controlling mosquitoes: 1. In 20 centilitres of water mix 50 grams of sugar and heat it. Let it cool in a plastic bottle that has been cut in half, to which you should add dust yeast without stirring. When it is cold, put the bottle neck down into the container that created the bottle. In a short time carbon dioxide will begin to be generated and the smell of fermentation will attract mosquitoes, which will be trapped in the trap. 2. You can add vinegar (1/5) to a glass of water, then add 1-3 drop of dishes soap. Mosquitoes will go there and won't be able to escape. Good luck!
