Whats causing the Edge-Melt

looks like pests to me actually, there's kind of been a ph issue at some point, standard overwatering issues a bit too , but i would be more worried about the pests, check the underside of the leafs perhaps and see for yourself , correcting the pest issue with healthy soil by adding beneficials takes a while but it does pay off long term.
