Hello. So am starting to grow outdoors, in a largely tropical climate with two rainy seasons per year. Is it still possible for me to produce budds with differentiation in color and shades ???

Colouring largely depends on the genetics. Plenty of strains turn purple so just look for one of those.

If the strain you have is colorful then the climate shouldn’t effect it. But you won’t be able to get the coloring from giving the plant colder temperatures. Unless towards the end of flowering u water with ice water, Which i don’t personally recommend but ive seen people do it and get some pretty purples
