Will a cutting put into hormone powder and plant into a pot of soil live? what if my plant is in flower or pre flower? How do you get a clone to go back to veg?

direct HOT sunlight on week one?Should I put her under direct sunlight? Temperature here reaches 32°C-89°F and it's not so windy, Im scared it could burn the tiny plant, I have been keeping both plants under a white mosquito net that makes the light less hot and they get some direct light untill 10 am (see pic)
