Will someone please help me understand nutrients and fertilizers? I'm dyslexic and Asperger's and don't understand any of it. I've tried to learn it but it's confusing. What npk ratio for each stage and how often/ much do I give my plant? I feel stupid..

Don't feel stupid about it, nutrients can be a bit confusing. If growing in soil then the soil will have enough nutrition for at least 3 weeks, some soils you may get 5 weeks. Try to find a brand you can get hold of easily and try sticking to the one brand. Most companies sell a veg and a bloom formula. Some are 1 part some are 2 part some are 3 part. If you struggle to understand then find one that just has a bottle for veg and a bottle for bloom. Have a look at the list of companies on this site in the dropdown tab, they are all canna friendly.

Aldo90 none. That's why I was wondering so I don't waste my money on something that's not gonna work. I found some stuff online called Dr Jim's chicken soup for the soil that's supposed to be really good. It's got a ton of great reviews and it's a start to finish fertilizer. I think I might try it. I asked my dad yesterday and he taught me some stuff. He's grown for years.

try using the biobizz organic feeding, its very easy to use and top results, in veg plants need bio grow = N , in flowering they need Bio bloom + Top Max = PK , different bottles are in different colour so you wont get mixed up,
i would also recomend using bio heaven throughout the grow , keeps the plant healthy.

I added mycorrhiza to the coco coir from a local store. It turned out that there is slow release fertilizers in it. Was not indicated on the packaging.Please Help!
First time after watering with 5.7pH 400ppm drainage water was 6.7pH and 800ppm. I flushed her to 400ppm.

Questions about wateringI created a 40 ml solution, the instructions say to transplant after the sprout has grown to the top of the plastic cover and the roots are visible through the plug. The question is, is 40 ml of liquid enough for this growth? I think not.

Help: potential over fertilisation or over waterningI used Biobizz bio grow, 2ml/L and sprayed them more than usual. The tip of the leaves is getting yellow. 2 plants have the leaves pointing down and seem more textured and tick. The other 2 (the biggest) seem better, but the yellowing of the leaves is more evident.

Feeding right after repotting (coco coir).After repotting an auto flowering plant I get runoff EC of 800, while feeding water has EC 1200.
I guess EC gets diluted (biggest part of coco coir is new).
Should I increase EC of the feeding water?
