if the buds are overly moist you need to take them out of the jar.. keep an eye on that. just trying to get moisture content at equilibrium for 62% rh and room temp give or take. deeper moisture sometimes has to be "sweated" out.. so you remove them when that moisture comes to the surface.. repeat process until there's some consistency in how the bud feels. the smell will go away.. as long as you don't keep it sealed up in airtight container when its too wet.
