Edible out of fresh harvest

Hi, I'm not very much into smoking weed, more like eating edibles. In cause of financial and space problems, my plan is to make edibles stait out of the harvest or after the drying. My question is: Does the curing/fermentation effects the potency or effect of the weed?

Fermentation will definitely affect the effect of your weed, as the trichomes will keep on ripening and becoming more amber coloured. Over time, thc is being converted to cbd and cbg which increases the "stoned" effects on your body and makes it slighty less psychoactive. You can theoretically make edibles with fresh harvest if you want more of a psy high, but i think that you are going to have a grassy/chlorophyllic smell and taste in your edibles. What you could do is to make fresh frozen extract / bubble hash and use that.

For maximum effect and tastiness, definitely dry and cure your harvest before making your edibles.

no curing will not make your weed stronger though what it will do is make the terpene profile of that strain more smelly and more tasty it will also remove any harsh chemicals left in the bud,
