What are these? Buds? Seeds? both?

I am seeing some pistils coming out of small round shaped parts of the plant, there are 2 per node. One on each side. I wonder if this means it's half male half female and I should cut them to avoid pollination and reduced yield?

No male genitalia seen in the picture - you're good those you mean are called "calyxes" - when you close to harvest you can take a lot of them , dry them quick and you'll have a quick taste of your plant before harvest :P

those are future buds. pay attention to how developed those are and when vege growth stops (new leaves / stem elongation). this is useful familiarity when planning. it's not always the same, but better thana blind guess. for example, you don't have much more vege growth left at this point, i'd guess. might get a few more inches of height, if it hasn't already stopped. i see no male genitalia. i'm no george michael but pollen sacs look different than calyxes. google image search. you can familiarize yourself better with what to look for better than i can describe it. hairs = female, though... if it has hairs poppin out of it, it's a calyx. calyxes are good.
