Man, some people make things way too complicated and take thing way too serious and literal. and then they rant??

if exotic means what was stated below... what seems silly is associating a long, low yield with quality... as if quality can only come from genetically depressed plants, lol. The low yield and long bloom are negative traits. you can absolutely get those same buds on a proper plant with more effort... more sophistication in the breeding process. it isn't magic. it's mathematical probability and suitable samples sizes... nothing is unique/mystical as it is often perceived to be. if you only smoke, you can ignore that cost. as a grower it is not "top shelf" due to multiple negative traits that aren't necessary... more of a product of poor breeding choices and often willful ignorance of an existing knowledge base related to genetics. Either it is top shelf, or it is not... how long the plant took to produce it or how little it produced is not an element of evaluation for buds. eye of beholder when splitting hairs at top... taste, and potency is all i care about... i don't give a fuck about "pretty" colors.. i'm about to burn the damn plant material anyway. i don't care about aromas that don't translate to taste of smoking it... useless and disappointing at the same time when it is like that. e.g. lemon aroma or flavor is never top shelf for me... that's disgusting.. might as well go drink a can of citranella. a lot of what the community/culture demands ppl believe with very little supporting evidence i'm just starting to ignore by default. been wrong so many times... it's comical. show them that mineral content doesn't change and they just make up new shit as to why "it" should be done instead of admitting that they believed in something that is quantitatively and easily proven untrue given existing knowledge and equipment for decades,lol. entourage effect? i don't feel it... there's shit weed that makes me sleepy and there's good weed that doesn't. i think that's more about the degradation than the "terps" which also exist in apples, oranges and other stuff we eat or regularly smell that doesn't get us "high"... never did. why would it now? magic! 90% of anything complicated or sophisticated is wrong, lol.... the esoteric things pushed by this subculture are bad guesses at best...

Hello. To me Exotics are stuff that is hard to find or takes a long time to finish like 14 to 18 weeks or gets you super head high. Top Grade can be anything that is grown well, gets you blasted and is flowered 12 weeks or less. Mid Grade can be well grown but just doesn't get you that high. And low grade is 👉 3 joints later and you still can't catch a buzz. Chuck.
