Light height and intensity

I have a spider farmer SE 3000 light in the spider farmer 2 X 2 X 5 tent and the plants seem to be stunted for growth in the tent (no signs of light burn). Any recommendations for light height and intensity?

I run a spider farmer as my main light hung from the top se7000 never above 80%. A se3000 spider farmer, 30inches through veg on 60-80% you’d only get light burn from the heat the light gives off. I’ve loooed at your plants and they look okay yeah abit stumpy maybe nick it up to 40 60% and raise the light to 30inches.

Thank you both for the information. I moved the light up and it seems to have helped. I also realized I purchased a different soil which is probably having an impact. I should have started feeding earlier based on the soil I was using. Finally I did purchase a par meter and will try that with the light before giving up on the setup entirely.

Best way is to use a PAR meter and put your lights where they need to be according to nutrient levels, growth stage, CO2 level, etc. I had the same issues you're having until I got a PAR meter. No light burn and beautiful, but no change in height. Best way for me before that was raise the light a few inches each day until you see them start to stretch, then lower it a few inches. The issue with manufacturer recommendations is, they dont know your plants nor all of the variables that are specific to your grow. Each plant is its own self with its own needs.
