Hello my dear friend! I would say yes and no. Sometimes you do not need a net. If you have strong branches there is no use of a net if you haven’t topped your plant because she can hold her self up. If you top her and train her you should use a net to even out the canopy. That’s the best way to use a net to even out the canopy. But your plant seems to be a big fat bud producer so I would say a net is not a bad idea for this grow! But in the future I’d u want to use a net the best way. Search for Scrog, topping, low stress training, mainlining and you will learn so much about using the net so you won’t have to ask us anymore. Watch some videos and try out new things. Find the way that fits u with your experience and never stop learning.

To be honest not really the greatest. If you are looking for a SCRoG grow then you would have needed to keep tucking the branches under to fill out the entire canopy in the squares. You can see how I did this with my 4x4 tent and a single plant. You are too late if you were planning on a SCRoG If you are using the net just to support the branches then you are really only getting the main branch and not anything else. I hope this helps.

If it's to do a scrog, then no. If it's to hold the branches when the flowering will add weight, then yes 😉✌️

multiple ways to use one... either use it to help grow things horizontally until the plant properly fills the space, then let it go vertically. Or, use it to spread out growth as it goes through it to keep the colas well-spread out. This will support them and give breathing room/light penetration.

no; not really. growdiaries.com/journal/how-to-scrog-cannabis-plants-a-comprehensive-guide growdiaries.com/journal/how-to-scrog-cannabis-a-complete-guide but does it matter? not really lol If plants are top heavy the scrog net can hep support them even if its not utilized for its full potential. Trail and error can always try again next grow :) Good Luck!

Not how I would use it, personally I treat it like it’s training wire, so you could raise that net a hair and bend that top cola underneath it, allowing the rest of your plant to catch up vertically while also maximizing surface area.

It depends what your goals with the net are. In this case, it doesn't look like you got your desired outcome. if you wanted to get a screen of green it would have involved having the net in place for a few more weeks in veg and either low-stress training it underneath and or topping the plant to keep it the height you want. usually it's good to top your plants at least once before just so you have more main branches to start with and make it faster to fill the net. it is to late to do any training. the other use for the net is when you are growing a sea of green with many smaller plants it is helpful to have the net in place like you do just to keep everyone standing up strong. Sometimes making mistakes will help you learn, and in this case I hope it helped you understand what happening. Look at some of my diarys week7-11 of veg.
