Now how do we hide the smell? We dont. lols. You cant stop a smelly variety from being smelly. Some strains are worse than others thou, things like Chem Dog, Sour Diesel, Skunks ect are going to be really strong smelling. I had a Sour D once I could smell from 2 houses away in my backyard. So im now looking for lower odor strains that smell sweet and candy like, less like the traditional skunks that most people know, or that OG KUSH smell most people call it now. My yard still stinks and on hot days in late flower when the wind is low, the smell is so potent it can make your eyes water. Do your best to HIDE the plants with other plants that kinda look like weed plants or bigger bushes that have flowers on them, things like Salvias ect.. I use butterfly bushes and geraniums as well as daisy's to hide mine from sight, so if people can smell them, they cant see them unless they are 4-6 feet away from them, any further and they are hidden. If you cant hide the smell, and you cant, make them hard to find and hard to steal. Thats your best bet.
I have also tried those oil reed diffusers that you put scented oil in, put some bamboo sticks in and the oil gets distributed that way. It works for a few weeks then you need more oil. I use them when im trimming to hide the smell and while its drying after that. The oil lasts for just the right amount of time.
