I'm wanting to get a new light and need some help. My tent is a 3x3. I'm only growing one plant at a time. How many watts do I need? I'm going through a rough patch and only have 0 max to spend.

the dollar sign makes numbes disappear so i can;t see your budget.
the FC 3000 is an excellent option. If you are going to grow autoflowers exclusively, you can use about 66% of that wattage, but will it have the same light distribution accross the area?
this is relative to high-efficiency lights. Lower efficacy will need more watts.

How to manage a tall plant with a thick stem in week 1 of flowering?One plant I ordered online was pre-grown. Now, it’s about 20 cm taller than my other plants. Wrong power cable in my LED light: still light when switched down off.Have you ever made this mistake? My second harvest was someway worst then my first. Sure I did some watering mistakes but during my chores in the room and in the tent, I found out. I used a random power cable on my PAR LED lamp so when It turned off still had some light on. I found out after bumping the light up 40% Plants did not like.
Looked up manufactures suggested hanging / power. Seems I am over powered. The light is more 4x4 or 3x3 then 2x2

Hight ProblemsI’ve got 3 plants in my tent, but they’re all different heights. To compensate, I’ve hung my light at an angle, so one end is closer to the smaller plants.
My question is: Does this help, or am I better off keeping the light level? Any tips for dealing with uneven plant heights?3 months ago
