hi everyone, I wanted to ask if now that I am at week 6, if it would be better to switch to cycle 18/6? since it broke the ground it is doing 20/4 but I thought that maybe in flowering it needs more rest. thank you all for your help and good growth🌱💚

I tried to grow under 24/0 20/4 18/6. My first week for girl is always 24/0.
In my current two runs I tried again 20/4 and plants look not happy or sleepy last few hours and perk up slowly in the morning.
There is such thing as DLI . Think those overpowered new types led are bringing me re light than plant needs.
I doubt I would find now, but internet is wide, there was some studies published about plants behaviour without sleep or limited amount of it.
Good luck making decisions, at the end it's still only you and girl. Will you nurse it and how much you will smoke ;)

That is what I had to do with Dr Who Auto, looked the same way, with 20/4, I switched and its all good now. But I don't know what would have happened if i hadn't - or even reversed the settings. which is what i am going to do next time. start at the 18/6 and be going 24 at the end maybe?

I am 18/6 person myself but will depend on how strong your grow light is.
DLI and PPFD and Par maps are what you need to know to correctly answer this question.

Agree with asnoriu - look into DLI. That’s what’s important. You can have same DLI running 16/8 as 18/6 as 20/4

Light intensityMy plants have been looking sad for a couple weeks. Tried everything then the other night I turned my light down to 40% giving a DLI of 28 they perked right up with 24 hours. I have now put it up to 60% giving a DLI off 39 will this be ok or should I keep it low. Week 2 flower.
