Wet trim and get the kief?Is it worth it to pause the drying process and wet trim?
I am mostly asking this since I read it's easier to wet trim and I can hopefully extract some kief from the sugar leaves with a grinder in the process.
What are your thoughts, leave it as is, or get that kief?

HAY SMELLBuds smelling a bit like hay/wet grass! what's weird is that the fat main tops are "crispy" and smell sweet and fruity but the smaller buds are still wet and smell like hay. On day 13 of drying 60%rh 72°F. The bigger stems are starting to snap but the smaller ones only bend??

Harvest?When will this be ready for chop. I’m having a hard time getting a good look at the trichomes. I know the goal is 30% amber. One plant has very few white hairs and one has quite a few can I wait for the others to come to full maturity too. I plan on using same tent to hang dry.

Weed smells dry like regular cut grass. What to do?I harvested parts of my laughing buddha and I've dried it for a few days now and the thing is, it smells like regular cut grass. In the dark before harvest?Is it imperative to put them in the dark before harvesting? I've built myself a dry box that will keep them dark, cool, and the air circulating. I still have plants growing so I can't off the lights and I don't have anywhere else to set them.
