I know I dont have the ideal conditions (80f 45rh) for drying, but it’s how its going to be as a humidifier and air conditioner for my grow space isnt in the budget atm. I have mason jars and boveda 62% humidity packs. Any other tips I should know for my first time?

With the tent being at 80f and 45rh you can jar on day 6-7 with no problems. You just need to fill the jars 3/4 full and open them 3 times a day for the 10 days. I also keep all jars in the dark cool space..I find if your stem has a good snap before you jar you over dried your buds. I have never had a moldy jar of buds doing it this way. Best of luck on a nice slow jar cur.

Don’t rush jarring them.. definitely wait until you have a nice hearty snap of the main branches. I rushed my first few harvests for no reason and wish I woulda let them hang a few days longer

I want airflow in my drying tent to prevent mold but I don't want to dry the plants too quickly. I try to hold the humidity around 55% and run the vent fan on low to take 10-14 days for the stems to have a good snap. Then, for small crops I'll put the flower into Mason jars but mostly I like rectangular, stainless steel Korean bento boxes. I put a electronic hygrometer (humidity gauge) into each container for 8 hours. Then when I check I want the humidity to be between 58-62%. If the humidity is I'll take a small square of paper towel and wet it and stick to the inside of the container. This is to get the flower up to the proper humidity range for curing. If the humidity is high I leave the container open longer. I check the curing containers 4-5 times a day. If they are dry I re-wet the paper towel. Eventually you can get the humidity where you want and once at the right humidity it doesn't change quickly. After the curing process, then I will put Boveda humidity packs into the containers for longer term storage.

Yeah—- dry for at least 14 days. Some many folks say 7-10– give it 14! Trust me. Passive airflow

Dry them in complete darkness, exposing harvested flowers to direct light will cause the rapid breakdown of cannabinoids.
