Unfortunately there is no absolute answer to that question. Since it is your first grow, it is completely up to you. Are you the guy that wants to learn by just watching the plant go without any training at all to apply that knowledge to future grows... or are you the guy that just likes to experiment and try things out? Decicion is yours. Oh and btw, if you end up LSTing end you break or snap a branch, its obviously gonna decrease your yield but stuff like that happens and the plant is just gonna keep on growing so dont worry too much :P

If it is still flexible I recommend to bend it over because you'll give the other bud sites a chance to get bigger but it is not necessary especially if you have the height space.

It depends on how stiff the main stem is at this point if it's really stiff I would leave it alone so you don't snap the main cola if it is still flimsy then go for it. I'm more of a let them go natural kinda guy.

Do u think its safe to use pond water for watering?Theres a pond near me(man made) with carp in it, Its connected to a stream which goes through the woods. Is there a way I could test the water if its safe, mabey some testing kit?
