Wondering if I screwed up, did the right thing or if this will be a further issue with other plant in room too . Noticed small rust looking stain in early veg auto. Wiped off and it came back larger a few days later. After reading of rust fungi I removed the leaf.

Your fine , this sometimes happens to mine on the first couple of leaves. I think it's just the plant adjusting Tbh . Keep an eye on new growth if new growth is healthy it's nothing to worry about.

Yellowing of leaves I usually grow Outdoor, easier I don't add any nutrients to the plants. Only organic things during the grow, if something is missing. The soil is a mix of compost and earth with nutrients (stuff you buy for vegetables). When you are talking of ppm, what is it about ? Nitrogen ?
