I am looking for a quiet exhaust system for a future 120x120 box. Since I sleep in the same room as the tent, it must be as quiet as possible.

I'm probably looking for a quiet ventilation system and a sound-insulated ventilation duct.
Does a silencer help, and where should it be placed?

AC Infinity or Mars Hydro is the best for us - checked everything already but still have to save up a bit bc of higher price but worth it.
If you looking for fan inside tent I can recommend you Honeywell Quiet Set - the best box ventilator u could find to making almost no noise but are pretty strong

AC infinity exhaust fan with insulated ducting. Insulated ducting is the main factor. It reduces the sound significantly!

I have several AC Infinity fans and I LOVE them! In North America they are AC Infinity but in Europe I think Mars Hydro has a very similar product but I have no experience with them. I have the digital controls so the fan will turn on/off as needed depending on temperature and humidity. And, they are the quietest fans I've ever used. I have no need for a silencer because it's such a quiet fan.
Any fan will be loud when working hard. Most of the noise is not from the fan but the air rushing through the duct/pipes. So, if you want quiet buy the next size larger fan and duct/pipe than you need and run it at 30-50% speed.

I have heard that AC infinity makes really quiet fans. They seem pricey but the quality on everything they do is superior.
They have about 10 different speed settings and can connect to a automated controller.

Mars hydro make them. I've been looking at them myself as I'm the same situation with a noisy bedroom extraction fan. I just can't afford it right now.

Best way to keep a tent in the loft coolCooling the loft... so I've got my tent in the loft, I have a 4" inline extracting from the tent and a 6" inline feeding air into the loft. This works perfectly the majority of the time.. I can keep things at 25°c with ease. But on hot days the tents gets too hot....

How do you deal with the humidifier in hydro ?So I bought a dehumidifier as advised but now the room gets hotter (Had to setup an extractor to pull the hot air and now I have no intraction) and during the day EC goes up of 0.1 or even 0.2 (from 1.8 to 1.9 or 2). I suppose there are more nutriments because of dehumidification
